Ever get up one morning and know that the day is going to be one of those wasted days. You know, the kind that you only get a pay check for being present, that is if you have a job. The kind of day that you remember from a past date but wish had never happened. Like "the day" that you threw up on the girl next to you in Ms. Bennett's class. Maybe "the day" that you got blamed for some one writing on the board when the teacher was out of class. Maybe "the day" when an 8th grader came on campus with a loaded 38 and pointed at your head. How bout "the day" you got a call that your dad died and you had to leave work ASAP. "The day" that you didn't go home will always be in your memory. There are days that you can feel "it", feel it hard. The "it" can only be described as despair, no wait maybe hopelessness, wait it's loneliness, oh yea worthlessness that's "it". Well what ever "it" happens to be you know that feeling. What ever "it" happens to be that day "it" is real. "It" is there and "it" is what it is.
That "it" affects everything that is around you. Seems like "it" is an absolute energy that takes control of every effort and event for the time "it" has you. GOOD GRIEF! "It" really sounds like an all powerful force that we are at the mercy of, completely out of our control. Maybe.
There are things out there that are strong against any attack. There are three. One is Prayer, that continuous conversation with the creator of the universe. Two is Love. Love doesn't have to be a two way thing. Three is silence. What?
So I guess it is best to face each day with a prayerful mind, a loving heart, and a closed mouth.
