That's the Facts and I'm Sticking To Them
I'm not shy when it come to expressing my feelings about my LORD and His business. I've only had two church homes in my life. The first I grew up and I grew up in. I've learned in my life some basic things to use as a guide.

1. God is God and I am not, therefore He is in control and not me and if I really want to take a chance of screwing things up then I can make decisions in light of my worldlyness.

2. I don't work for "man", I serve the LORD or not.

3. If we play politics in the "church" we turn the organization of the church into a "poor man's county club."

I do understand that there are "church leaders", deacons and such, that have never experienced a God filled, God lead body of faith but there is absolutely no excuse for negative derogatory speech about church staff and programs. I say that especially to those in a "church" that have no involvement in active programs.

I'm not saying get out and leave us Godly folk alone. GOOD GRIEF! I'm far from Godly and I don't care if you go or not. I just want you to remember the scriptures say, "God will not be mocked" and His wrath is hard.

In closing I'd like to say, "I'm here for you." I'll pray with you and I'll search the scriptures with you. Please just don't stand to close to me because Lightning causes an average of 45 deaths and 300 injuries in the United States each year.

HA!

Fun Site Good Game

Ever got home from work and looking the freg and grabbed something to snack on and about have way through you begin to add up how long it has been in the freg and wonder if you have made a date with the "porcelain alter" for later that night. WELL HAVE YOU? Of course you have, so here's a site that will cure you of the potential to call "RALPH" after a out of life snack.

http://www.stilltasty.com/

This would make a great party game. Go to the store and buy some snacks and goodies. Put them in the freg and keep up with the date. Bring them out at the party and challenge folk to eat or not eat. Charge them $1.00 for each "no eat." Send the money to Feed the Hungry. Find out which guys are pussies and which girls are ... aaaaaaa .... like to eat.

Seems to me there is change in the air. When I was a kid I wanted to be superman. There was a lot of power in a bath towel wrapped around your neck when you turned on your imagination. Yes a "comic book hero" but in those days a darn good one. What could be more character building or a better role model than someone that stood for truth, justice and the American way, and of course FLY! I loved X-Men too. I would get up early on a Saturdays and watch the cartoons as long as they were on the tube. It was fantastic.

Now days though, if you want to watch cartoons you get funny looking creatures. Not funny dogs or cats or funny people but you get creatures with no names. What it that thing?!

Somebody started saying how violent the cartoons were so folks started changing them. Well what now?Alice in Wonderland! Of course in Insane-Vision. Yea I know old Alice was never the most calming movie and was very confusing to me but it had little rabbits running around and funny flower things. It was "CUTE." I even saw the triple x rated Alice, not one of my best decisions in life, terrible and nasty too i regret it to this day. THIS VERY DAY. I guess that is why they call it triple x. Today you can see the NEW Alice in Wonderland and if previews are any indication of ... calming entertaining value, you need to do the "run away" when you get near it.

Be that one side of the coin, if you saw "Up" or "Avatar" the future of animation and computer generated features are unlimited. I still want to be Superman or maybe Hulk, yea Hulk, but to see maybe "Treasure Island" or "Song of the South" staring Rabbit and Tar Baby, WOW that would be entertainment.

I could talk about adult decisions that cast young high schoolers into a musical where folk get their throats cut only to end up in a "meat pie." I just think there are better things out there that are just as testing of talent and desire than "SWEENY TODD." Oh crap, I promised i wouldn't blog at you about that musical that I named completely by accident. I'm old and I could go a lot more years before I reach the dirt stage and still not have seen that show. (OK, let me say the shame of it is that the wonderfully talented students that put this musical on could have been tested and enjoyed the production as much and maybe more if it had been something light and with a good moral story. one that didn't include PEOPLE GETTING THEIR THROATS SLICED WITH A RAZOR!

I've got it! How about Shrek 4, My Swamp is filling up with poo. In a musical form that could be a side splitter, and I don't mean with a RAZOR!

Good grief! a Ghost Whisper of a HOMO!
Growing up I love to watch TV but because my dad kept out set in his bedroom it was difficult to watch regular stuff. Our favorite show was "Combat!" with Vic Morrow. You of course remember Vic as being the actor who was killed in the making of the movie "Twilight Zone." Helicopter chapped off his head. Anyway, Today I still like watching TV and do it regularly to get my chills and trills. The show Ghost Whisper is one I used to watch regularly but then it got toooooooo weird, so now I watch every now and then.
Friday last was a good program that you knew was going to have twists in it but the twist could have gone in many directions other than the one it did and still have been a good show.
OK, here's the skinny. Ghost #1 is the mother of friend of the Melinda chick, the star. His father dies and the parents have something "yet to be settled." turns out there was an affair between the mother and some one. The "friends" that ghost #1&2 spent the summers with at the cabin at the lake are implied as having something to do with the affair. OK, you get the feeling that it's the husband. of course they have a daughter who has the hots for Melinda's friend who can only hear ghosts unlike Melinda who can see and hear ghosts. I know but it can be entertaining sometimes. As the show climaxes it turns out the the affair is between the MOTHERS! OH MY GOD! was it necessary to inject the homosexuality. I mean really it's enough that we're having married folk "adulterizing" (if it's not a word it should be) but now we've got to stick a bunch of queers in it.
This show comes on at 7:00 PM when the kids are snuggling next to mom and dad on the sofa wide eyed at the tube. GOOD GRIEF!
If that's not enough we got queers on the GREAT RACE and... to many to count.
Now, I must say I do not hate anyone, but I DO HATE THE IMMORAL LIFE STYLE AND REBELLION OF GOD'S MEANING PLAN OF HOMOSEXUALITY.
Give me a break on the tube, with as many channels as there are we could just have the queer channel.
BY the way QVC does not stand for Queer Video Channel.
