RANT SOME MO!

Ranting is becoming one of those things that I can't get away from, but I promise I'm not doing it out loud. SO, give me a little bit of credit.

Who are you cheating if you don't complete tasks that are apart of your JOB. I think it is a matter of perspective. If you can live with it, it really doesn't matter. If you can't live with it then you'll probably say the boss, company, etc...

This brings me to "Walden's Rules of the JOB."

Number 1: Whose getting paid. If you take the job then you're getting paid. So do the job. If you aren't doing your best you are stealing.
Number 2: If you say, you will then just do it. There is nothing greater than a person's word. As a man thinks, so is he. Character is hard to hide.
Number 3: If you work hard today then the day will come when you will be doing more in the same amount of time and getting paid more for it. The average mentality says, the amount of time to do a job is directly proportionate to the time you're given to get it done. The Walden Philosophy is "work your butt off and then rest." Get some water when you need it but then get back to it.
Number 4: The better you do it, the more attention you get. The key to advancement is to get noticed.
Number 5: The old saying "it's not what you know but who you know" is true only if you know someone. See rule 4.
Number 6: Excuses are like "rear ends". Everybody has one and they all stink! Except responsibility and move on, don't make excuses about why you can't do it. If you can't do it then it's the wrong job for you or you are wrong for the job.
Number 7: Never, never, never give up. Remember the turtle and the rabbit race. Keep on keeping on. Remember your dreams. They do come true.
Number 8: Mistakes are good things. They can point you in the right direction to success.
Number 9: Mistakes are bad. Read the directions.
Finally the rule that all rules fall on and come up from.
Number 10: What ever you do, any time you do it, do it like the boss is watching. That of course is the Walden paraphrase for a scripture that says "do all to the glory of the LORD."

Who is cheating who? That's up to you.
