Friday Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was 13 years old I would walk to the pool hall, which was about a mile and a half from my house, to shoot pool. It costs like $.25 a game. That's right, I said a quarter. I don't think my dad ever knew about it, but my mom would give me a few quarters just to get me to exercise. Of course there were a few guys who would make all these trick shots that inspired me to waste a quarter to try them for myself. This is not one of those guys but WOW! What a shoot by this chick.

OH YEA!

Who died and made you ...!?

Ever meet someone who acted like they were special. I mean they were like they were in charge and you lived in their world. I mean that it was OK to treat anybody and everybody the way they wanted to, no matter how bad it was. I have known several of these kind of people and worked for several also.

I started working in this school district in August 1974. Today is close to the last day of the 2008-2009 school year. I've met some of the nicest people I will ever meet. Their friendship will last forever but I have met some of the most inflated egotistical people I ever hope to meet. I mean if I never see them again it will be to soon.
There are so many people in the education "business" that have gone to "school" longer than others and think that the degree/s they have gives them an expertise that gives them the right to be in charge. These folks are given authority by pay check! but it doesn't make it right to become a '"JACK-ASS." Of course there are some people that don't need a degree to become a "JACK-ASS." They come by it naturally.
OK, I have news for the "JACK-ASSES" of the world. DO NOT COME MY WAY! I'm creating "The Universal Organization of Kiss My Ass Jack Ass." I'm going to get a song, handshake, color, membership card, and a code of behavior. It's time that we all stand up to the "JACK-ASSES" of the world and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Can't we just treat others as we want to be treated? I mean if you don't mind someone taking away you life style then find, but if some one is treating you like you have no choices but their's open your eyes. STAND UP! GOOD GRIEF! Where is the problem? Get a friend and both of you "stand up."
Join the movement, The Universal Organization of Kiss My Ass Jack-Ass or the UOKMAJ. No dues required but gifts and donations excepted. E-mail you name, address, Occupation, and the initials of your favorite "JACK-ASS."

ENOUGH.
End of the school year and I have a few things that I should be doing but I've been in the depression fog for a few days and battling a few personal demons.
My girls are my life. Libby, Anna, and Katie are so precious to me. A good friend sent me this message today and it spoke so loudly to what I desire for my girls I wanted to share it with the world so you can share it with your girls or guys.
"ENOUGH"
Recently, I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.. Standing near the security gate, they hugged, and the mother said, 'I love you, and I pray you enough.'

The daughter replied, 'Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I pray you enough, too, Mom.'

They kissed, and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there, I could see she wanted and needed to cry.
I tried not to intrude on her privacy, but she welcomed me in by asking, 'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?'
Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?'

'Well...I'm not as young as I once was, she lives so far away & has her own busy life. I have some challenges ahead, and the reality is - her next trip back will be for my funeral,' she said.

'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I pray you enough.' May I ask what that means?'
She began to smile. 'That's a prayer that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.' She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and she smiled even more. 'When we said, 'I pray you enough,' we wanted the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.' Then, turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.
"I pray you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.
I pray you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I pray you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I pray you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.
I pray you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I pray you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I pray you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye."
Then, she began to cry, and walked away.
They say, it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire life to forget them.

TAKE TIME TO LIVE..... AND REMEMBER YOU ARE WORTHY OF LOVE AND LIFE ETERNAL.
I LOVE YOU LIBBY, ANNA, KATIE. I PRAY YOU "ENOUGH".

The Right Tool for the Right JOB.
Let me testify to the validity of the old saying "the right tool for the right job." I have had quiet a few "projects" in my time that required the proper tool to accomplish the task. It really goes like this, not having the right tool for a task = scratches, scraps, cuts, extensive vocabulary express loudly, and usually the purchase of the "right tool." I'm telling you if you have ever tried to remove a steering wheel from your car, you'll need that little tool that makes it easy easy.
The right tool has generated a plethora or thangs out there and I WANT the ALL. Check this out:
I'm going to make something some day that ... no that's been done ... no that's been done too. Well, let me think on it a while.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..................................

I'd been thinking all day about what I should write about today but after breaking up a fight that messed my shirt, not being able to eat lunch till after 1:00 and being held hostage in my office by three exceptional ed students for a couple of hours "my butt is dragging the ground." I do have something to say.

You guessed it, "list time."

THE TOP 10 THOUGHTS ON POOPED DAY
1. If you don't believe in you the possibility of you being what you should be is very low.
2. God is God and you are not.
3. If you don't want help then don't ask.
4. I am not your mama.
5. Spaghetti is good just about anytime.
6. There were ice cream trees in "the garden."
7. Ask God for anything but if you don't think the UPS guy is coming to your house where is your faith.
8. If you want change, you have to "want" it. Not "think" you want it and you can't ask the "price" of change.
9. No matter how many matches you strike, in life, burned bridges only burn once.
10. Finally and best of all is... DON'T LET ANY ONE SAY YOU AREN'T WORTH IT!

PLEASE STAND UP, PLEASE
I recently saw a picture with the caption that read, "the only guy standing is the one in the wheel chair." The picture was a parade with the American flag being carried by and the only person in the crowd showing respect to the stars and strips was an cripple old man. I guess some folk wouldn't get it but it's clear to me. That flag represents my Uncle Wayburn who died in Germany during WWII and the many friends that died in Viet Nam. I guess some just don't get it but they probably never lost someone who fought for freedom. I have to stand in honor of the "Flag."
Recently I got an e-mail from a friend who is rather political. The e-mail was about standing up for the president. I guess it is fashionable these days and be radical when it comes to political matters. Not me, I try not to be fashionable in any situation. Here it is.
"I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.

Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT uniting behind Obama!

I will continue to respect the office that he holds and I acknowledge his ability as a good public speaker (but only with total reliance on teleprompters) and I will pray for him, BUT that is it! I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President!

Why am I doing this?
 It is because I do not share Obama's vision for a socialist America.
 I do not share his radical beliefs on abortion.
 I do not share his radical Socialist concept of re-distributing wealth.
 I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (this ceiling has changed three times since August).  I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%.
 I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage.
 I do not share his spiritual beliefs, whatever they are (at least the ones he has made public) they change periodically. In an interview he once said "my Muslim beliefs." Atheist mother and Muslim father...who knows?
 I do not share his socialist agenda of nationalizing the U.S. health care system.
 I do not share his strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran. Many see him as weak and ineffective.
 I resent his derogatory, anti-American comments about America on foreign soil!
 I resent him telling foreign countries that "America is not a Christian nation"!!!
 I resent his weak, unpresidential behavior by bowing to a Muslim king and then flat lying about it when the media caught it on tape!
Does he think Americans are blind and stupid? Well, Mr. Obama, we're NOT!

Bottom line, my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is right! So, I will stand up and fight back against Obama's unprecedented power grab with his polices and agendas that I deplore!

For eight years, the Liberals in our society, led by many entertainers who would have no platform or no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family and his spiritual beliefs!

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country! They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except those who disagree with them!

They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years. They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country!

They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our society! They have challenged capital punishment, yet they think the brutal and barbaric slaughter of the most innocent, the unborn, is alright! And, they disparage and say hateful and vicious things about anyone who doesn't agree with their murderous beliefs! they challenge the right to bear firearms and the most basic principles of our criminal code. They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech! Unite behind Obama? Never!!!

I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil! Obama is a curse on this nation and he will bring her down if he's allowed to! Wake Up America!!

PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he was a man of morals and he weighed his decisions in light of the long- established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!

Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America."

I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country!! Any more compromise is more defeat!

I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist, anti-God crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America!

"Error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it." (Thomas Jefferson)

God bless you and God bless our Country!!! And God save us from Barack Hussein Obama."
Well there you have it. There are a lot of things that will not be mentioned about these few words copied from an e-mail, but there must be one thing added. This message could have been read from the steps of our national monuments and no one would have lost his life for speaking his heart, his beliefs or a combination of the two. This is the United States of America and there is no other nation big or small like it in the world.
Maybe there should be one more thing to say that's not said. You can "stand up" if you want to or maybe not.

FRIDAY VIDEO

You never know how something will affect someone else till you try.

Friday video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STUPID STUFF
I get stupid stuff e-mailed to me all the time. I LOVE IT! I share a lot of it cause it is "to much", but some I don't cause it's "just to TO TO much."

I'm giving in to the pressures of the Friday spirit and I'm going to put some out there for you to see and give you a shot to say to yourself as I do, "GOOD GRIEF!"

1. Who, I say again, WHO thought this up? A DEAR BUTT DOOR BELL. You don't see thing on sale at Wal-Mart, Sears, or Victoria Secrets. There has to be some kind of alien influence here. Don't you think?

2. Is this a blow up doll or .... well, the alien influence comes to mind again. Who took this picture? How were they able to muster the courage to get close enough. These kinds of pictures take courage, believe me. Of course the effectiveness of the air bags here is really going to suffer.

I'd like to know her "nick name."

3. There is always that thing called the "unseen element." That's when "the thought never crossed my mind" factors comes into play. I'd like to thank those people that really use this "thought never crossed my mind" element on a regular bases.

My question to this lady is intentional or "the thought never crossed my mind". No I wouldn't ask, but .... well maybe if I were out of town.
OIL! WE GOT OIL! REALLY?

The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota ; western South Dakota ; and extreme eastern Montana ...... check THIS out:The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels.. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion..'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.' says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years.' reports, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada . For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves.... and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 41 years straight.2. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO!U. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World!Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006 Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling? They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth Here are the official estimates:- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia- 18-times as much oil as Iraq- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait- 22-times as much oil as Iran- 500-times as much oil as Yemen- and it's all right here in the Western United States .HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy....WHY?James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

When Did It change?

This is a plea for someone to tell me and document for me when schools became day cares. I thought that I went to college to be taught to educate young people, preparing them for a bright future. Now I'm being told by parents that I'm "cramping their style" by sending their kids home for disrupting class by cussing teachers, fighting, or sleeping.

Well, who is right?! I'm getting cussed like a dog and invited to go straight to hell because I'm trying to protect students and assure them the proper educational opportunities. SO WHO IS TO BLAME!!!?

TIME FOR A LIST.
LIST #1 Things you might hear if you are an assistant principal trying to protect kids and educate them too:
1. I gots to work. I can't keep a child.
2. Why are you there if you can't keep them.
3. Ya'll need to do your jobs.
4. All ya'll do is send kids home.
5. I'm going to call the superintendent.
6. My child would never do that.
7. Just because he is a little behind ya'll don't want to help him.
8. You be profiling!
9. It's cause he is black, ain't it.
10. I'm not his mama, he just lives with me.

LIST #2 Things you might hear as answers to list #1:
1. I'm sorry, I'm confused. I thought this was a school and not a day care or special after school program.
2. I'm sorry, I'm confused. Didn't I just answer that.
3. I'm sorry. I thought I was a under paid professional educator, but you may have me confused with a day care specialist.
4. I'm sorry. Didn't I just answer that.
5. I'm sorry. That number is .... Oops, you have me confused with a telephone 411 operator instead of a professional educator committed to children's best interests despite being under paid and over worked.
6. I'm sorry. Don't be confused. It's the same child you claim on your income tax form each year. The one that calls you mom.
7. I'm sorry. A little behind can always be over come. Your child is 16 years old and in the 7th grade.
8. I'm sorry. Yes we do lean towards removing children from class that call their teachers B's, H's, SOB's, MF's, N's, and other colorful words that are not in our curriculum, those who walk around with their pants near their knees, those that sing out loud in class with lyrics degrading women, police, and others of authority.
9. I'm sorry. I'm color blind and do not work in a private school where certain ethic groups excluded. I choose to work in public schools where each child has an opportunity to a free quality education, that is if we can get kids like yours to allow the teachers to teach.
10. I'm sorry.

So when did it change? Who can I blame? Is there one somebody that we can put our fingure on?

I don't think so.

FRIDAY! Friday! FRIDAY!

1. Cussed!
2. Subpoenaed
3. Trapped by a parent whos kid didn't go to my school.
4. Forced to push a stupid car 400 yards! Mostly by my self! God bless that young man.
5. Missed lunch because of being in court.
6. Fell asleep in a state testing meeting that i have heard 4 times this year already.
7. Cussed!

Anyway not much change here, but I did help one young man graduate this year by getting him through his state tests. Congrats Tony!

OK, video Friday right! Yes, yes, yes! This comes from my friend Fred. I wish I had thought about inventing this because i could have used it. This is sure to raise the number of trailer hitches to be sold just so the potential is there.

500 pounds?????? GOOD GRIEF!

Going home now so I leave you with one more video that you can shared with your friends and others.

And that ladies and gentlemen is video friday in Walden World
