One of the things I hate about Christmas is the buying of the gifts. With Thanksgiving coming up everyone will be looking for the "Black Friday Lists" to get the best prices on "STUFF". I hate the crowds but you gotta do what you gotta do. Every year I "pine" over the what should I get this and that person at work and how much should I spend. OK, so I came up with this idea. I'm going to make the suggestion that no one give anything to any one else FOR CHRISTMAS.. Wait! I'm not suffering from a case of "Scrooge." I think we should have a "GIVE FOR CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS." This is how is will work: instead of spending money on gifts we will give the money we would spend to purchase food for two local groups that feed those who are hungry and in need. We will produce a list of items and the cost of each, like a gallon can of beans is $2.89. instead of buying a gift you put the money in an envelope with a Christmas card. We open the envelope and keep the money. We put the cards on a tree for all to see. Wam Bam!!!! Killing two birds with one stone!!! We don't have to sweat the purchases and we all do something good for those who are needy. Evan the BOSSES DON"T GET GIFTS. OPPS! Maybe I should think about that. YES evan no gifts for the Boss. So I'll let you know if folk go for it. I THINK IT IS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
