There is a need for change!

Basketball has become boring and we need a change.
I confess! I hate basketball! I'm sure having to play security guard and leader of the masses for the out-of-mind for many schools has something to do with it but whether professional or college basketball, both have become boring to me. Let's admit it, the players are bigger and better than ever before. I don't mean there are more "Jordans" that before but i mean there are more near "Jordans". Seems they can all DUNK and it appears much of the true skill is missing out. To me is seems that most of the time it's 5 one on one games occurring at the same time. The real game involves who is the last to score.

Be that as it may, I am here to save you all by offering these changes to the sport(?) of basketball. Yes it is a list :)
1. Dunks will no longer count as two points. They now are worth one point and can not be counted in the last minute of play.
2. The three point shots continue but now there is a four point shot that is taken from half court. These four point shots can be "called" and unhindered in the last 44 seconds of any game. I hope you got the "44" play on the four point shot.
3. The ball itself is going to be modified. The game ball will be a solid color selected by the home team, but if the home team selects the traditional color for the game they receive an opportunity at 3 free throws. One prior to the beginning of the game, one at the beginning of the second half and one at the end of the game.
4. 3 opportunities will be given at 3 point shots for creativity in the areas of a. uniforms, b. players, c. half time performance. (NOTHING OF A SEXUAL NATURE) examples:
a. uniform design, gladiator night, sponge Bob night, Disney night
b. players, a team with a "little person" that play or a one armed guy that plays (a minimum of 2 minutes per quarter/half).
c. half time performance, a bunch of cute kids jumping ropes, a guy dressed like spider man doing shots off a tramp, an eating contest (unique food like chocolate yak chunks)

We all owe it to the fans of tomorrow to modify the game of present day into a game that is real like the game of yester year.
